With the rapid development of digital economy, the industrial Internet of Things (IoT) has achieved leapfrog development in recent years. Smart industrial technologies have been widely applied in the field of intelligent production. By applying sensing, communication, transmission, data processing, and control technologies to all stages of production, including batching and warehousing, the digitalization, intelligence and networking of production and control processes are realized. This enhances manufacturing efficiency, improves product quality, reduces product costs and resource consumption, thereby realizing industrial intelligence.

The industrial Internet of Things (IoT) contains the core elements of intelligence and networking. In the field of manufacturing, logistics and transportation, monitoring and management, connecting offline equipment to the network enables comprehensive data collection, efficient analysis, and real-time feedback. The role of the IoT gateway is particularly important. The IoT smart gateway can integrate and transmit information collected from different things. With the in-depth development of IoT, more and more devices need to be connected, which poses higher demands on the data processing, analyzing ability, transmission capacity and working distance of IoT gateways.

MYC-YA15XC-T System-On-Module

MYIR's MYC-YA15XC-T System-On-Module (SOM) can utilize 4G, Ethernet, and WiFi, providing long-distance and large data transmission capabilities; among them, LoRa, Bluetooth, RS485 and RFID enable the access of short-range IoT devices, which can be widely used in various industrial environments, such as smart bus stops, smart street lights, smart power grids, smart homes, industrial automation, water management, mining, petrochemical, and other fields.

The MYC-YA15XC-T SOM integrates the STM32MP1 processor, the first MPU introduced by STMicroelectronics. It features a heterogeneous system architecture combining the Arm Cortex-A7 dual-core application processor with the Cortex-M4 processor, enabling real-time data with high-speed data transfer capabilities. It fully meets the flexibility requirements of multiple applications while achieving optimal performance and low power consumption characteristics. The MYC-YA15XC-T SOM perfectly inherits the advantages of high performance and low power advantages of the STM32MP1 series processor, offering a good software development environment. Additionally, with support of the Cortex-A7 core and the open-source operating system Linux, along with the Cortex-M4 core that perfectly integrates with the existing STM32 MCU ecosystem, helping developers to easily realize the development of LoRa-based smart gateway applications.
