Shenzhen, China – November 12, 2020 - MYIR has attended Electronica South China 2020 at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center from November 3rd to 5th, 2020. The exhibition is focused on electronic components, systems and solutions, and innovative applications in Smart Mobility, Smart Factory and Smart Life. It is the second spin-off of electronica in China.

What’s more, MYIR’s Xilinx BU manager Mr. Jeff Liu gave a keynote speed "Edge AI Enabling Industrial Applications Efficiently" on this exhibition. Mr. Liu said that artificial intelligence had played an important role in many scenarios nowadays, but the high demand for end-to-cloud transmission capacity by cloud deployed AI had become a threshold for many AI applications. In more and more cases, the device data cannot be processed through the cloud, so it is necessary to process the AI algorithm on the hardware device locally, execute the model inference and prediction without the network connection, and realize the real-time response. MYIR’s FZ3 deep learning accelerator card and FZ5 EdgeBoard AI Box have solved the problem and can realize offline and localized AI recognition. The devices are using Xilinx ARM and FPGA solution, supporting Baidu’s PaddlePaddle framework to seamless compatible to use Baidu Brain’s AI development tools like EasyDL, AI Studio and EasyEdge to enable developers and engineers to quickly leverage Baidu-proven technology or deploy self-defined models, enabling faster deployment. They could be widely used in security, industry, medical, retail, education, agriculture, transportation and many other AI applications.
