Cost-effective CPU Module for Atmel ATSAMA5D2 Processors

Shenzhen, China - March 2, 2017- MYIR has released a cost-effective Linux-ready CPU Module MYC-JA5D2X for Atmel’s SAMA5D2 (26/27) ARM Cortex-A5 processor which supports multiple memories, including latest-generation technologies such as DDR3, LPDDR3, and QSPI Flash and is integrated with rich peripherals including the LCD & Touch controller, Camera interface, EMAC, USB HSIC and Safety IP, capable of running at up to 500MHz. 


Measuring only 67.6mm by 45mm, the MYC-JA5D2X CPU Module is a compact SODIMM200 based ARM controller board which is loaded with 256MB DDR3, 256MB Nand Flash, 4MB Data Flash and 64KB EEPROM as well as one 100Mbps Ethernet PHY. It has been designed to support up to 512MB DDR3 and 1GB Nand Flash (or 16GB eMMC Flash) on customer demand. The module can support -40 to 85 Celsius working temperature range for industrial embedded applications.


MYIR also offers a development board MYD-JA5D2X built around the MYC-JA5D2X CPU Module with a base board to bring a rich set of peripherals and interfaces through headers and connectors including serial ports, USB Host and Device ports, CAN port (only for SAMA5D27), Ethernet port, RS485, TF card slot, Audio in/out, LCD, etc.

The MYC-JA5D2X CPU Module is priced at only $49 (with ATSAMA5D27 by default) and the MYD-JA5D2X development board is priced at $129 in a kit that adds a power adapter and a variety of cables.
