MYIR has released EVM and SoM for TI AM437x family processors

Shenzhen, China - July 26, 2015 - MYIR has released a development board family MYD-C437X based on TI AM437x family of ARM Cortex-A9 processors which can work at up to 1GHz. The board has a base board built around the MYC-C437X CPU module. The CPU Modules integrate all the core components including the AM437x processor, 512MB DDR3, 4GB eMMC Flash, 32KB EEPROM, Gigabit Ethernet PHY and PMIC. It has two 0.8mm pitch 2*50-pin board-to-board connectors to provide an interface for the base board to carry all the I/O signals to and from the CPU module. On the base board, a set of peripherals have been brought out through headers and connectors like two serial ports, four USB Host ports, one USB OTG port, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, one CAN, one RS485, two camera interfaces, one Micro SD, HDMI, LCD, Touch screen and more others.

MYD-C437X Development Board


MYIR has ported Linux 3.12.10 on the MYD-C437X platform and offers software packages and documents as well as some necessary cable accessories along with the development board delivery. MYIR also offers 4.3-inch or 7-inch LCD modules, WiFi and camera modules as options.


The MYD-C437X development board can be used for evaluation and prototype of TI AM437x solutions. The MYC-C437X can be embedded into customers’ next design and speed up your product time to market. Typical applications are patient monitoring, navigation equipment, industrial automation, portable data terminals, bar code scanners, point of service, portable mobile radios, test and measurement and more others.
