What is the maximum storage speed of self-designed sata interface? What is the maximum speed of using adapter card?
Answer
The theoretical maximum speed of self-designed sata interface refers to the GTP interface is up to 6.25 GB/s. The theoretical maximum speed of using PCIE X1 adapter card is 5.0GB/s. If you use a PCIE X2 adapter card, the theoretical speed of sata3.0 can be achieved. But the theoretical speed won’t be achieved if the sata interface is connected to hard disk devices because the speed bottleneck is mainly the speed of hard disk.
